We are seeking a skilled and passionate
Chef who specializes in preparing
traditional Emirates local snacks such as
Barata, Karak, sandwiches, and other regional delicacies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques, ensuring the authentic taste and presentation of these beloved snacks.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and present a variety of Emirates snacks, including but not limited to Barata, Karak, and various traditional sandwiches, ensuring high quality and authenticity.
Assist in the creation and refinement of snack menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative takes on classic dishes.
Maintain consistent food quality and presentation, adhering to established recipes and standards.
Oversee inventory of kitchen supplies, ensuring fresh ingredients are available and minimizing waste.
Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times.
Work closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service and a cohesive work environment.
Engage with customers when necessary, taking feedback and making adjustments to enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with a specialization in Emirates local snacks.
Strong knowledge of traditional Emirates cooking methods and ingredients.
Ability to innovate and bring new ideas to the menu while maintaining authenticity.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Must be available to join immediately.
