We are looking to hire a Social Media Coordinator who will be responsible for or overseeing the day-to-day management of our social media platforms for our client based in Dubai a leading semi government organization.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
The role sits within the Brand & Communications team and reports directly to the Social Media Manager.
As a Social Media Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads. You will have a strong background in social media platform management, community management, publishing, and reporting. You would have gained knowledge in social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Sprinkle, and Hootsuite is essential.
Key responsibilities:
- Platform Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and optimal performance across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and Threads.
- Community Management: Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Sentiment monitoring, foster positive interactions and build relationships with followers.
- Publishing: Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives. Collaborate with the content team to ensure timely and relevant posts.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare detailed weekly reports on sentiment reports flagging any viral content, crises and outlier negative sentiment. Monitor and analyze social media metrics using tools such as Sprout Social, Sprinkle, and Hootsuite.
- Strategy Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Crisis Management: Monitor social media channels for potential issues or crises. Develop and implement strategies to address and mitigate any negative situations.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1 3 years of experience in managing social media platforms
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Community Management.
- Proven experience with Sprout Social, Sprinkle, and Hootsuite.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Arabic communication will be an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
