As Social Media Manager, you will lead the overall social media strategy in MENA, with a focus on bringing to Arabic-speaking markets EFG s brands (ESL, DreamHack, and FACEIT) and driving regional campaigns for Esports World cup, the world s largest gaming and esports event held in Saudi Arabia. You have a passion for building cohesive channel strategies to foster communities and deliver value to fans. You will be in charge of formulating and implementing campaign initiatives related to our brand, partners, products, and events, while also collaborating with and assisting both our local and global teams.

What you'll do:
Develop the social media strategy to expand EFG s brands presence in the MENA region.
Drive regional campaigns for Esports World Cup, the world's largest gaming event, held during the summer in Saudi Arabia
Build the appropriate channels strategy to ensure high acquisition and engagement of the community(-ies) and set the editorial line for community-centric communication
Own and monitor KPIs, and establish their use to drive successful content strategies
Work with creative team to produce locally relevant creative and communication assets
Communicate updates and reports efficiently for internal stakeholders.
Work cross-functionally with global teams across multiple disciplines and departments including Marketing, Creative, PR, Sales, and others to articulate product and brand vision
Brief departments, freelancers, and agencies with their scopes of work
Maintain knowledge of cultural landscape, industry trends, audience needs and interests, to provide relevant content for engagement
What you'll need:
Bachelor s degree with a discipline in Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline, or equivalent experience in social media or content agency
In-depth experience in social media or agency work (6+ years relevant experience)
Strong understanding of the MENA market landscape, with a focus on Saudi Arabia
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English and Arabic language. Excellent copywriting skills in both languages is required
Well-versed in social media, live streaming, digital content, viewer analytics, and audience segmentation
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Discord)
Strong experience in Community or community-related fields; preferably in gaming. Track record of running social media campaigns (organic and paid)
Experience working with other creative teams, content producers, media agencies, product management, content creators, external stakeholders
Experience working with younger audiences in a digital space; experience with esports/gaming or entertainment/sports a plus
