About the Job:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our social media presence across various platforms, developing engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to drive our brand's online growth.

Your Main Duties Will Include

Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
  • Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, including text, images, and videos.
  • Schedule and publish content across all relevant social media channels.

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create comprehensive social media campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage and optimize social media ad campaigns to maximize ROI.

Events Planning & Management:

  • Support the planning and promotion of events through social media channels.
  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure social media coverage and real-time engagement during events.
  • Track the performance of social media activities related to events and report on their effectiveness and ROI.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to social media interactions and messages promptly.
  • Foster a positive online community and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Manage social media communities, engaging with followers, and addressing feedback.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Measure the ROI of social media campaigns and events to assess their impact.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media activity and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve future strategies.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with the creative team to ensure brand consistency and messaging.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or influencers as needed.
  • Assist in the development of social media guidelines and best practices.

  • Strong understanding of social media channels, trends, and algorithms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms, analytics tools, and ad management.
