Summary
Social Media Specialist is responsible for enhancing and expanding Finance House Group's social presence, opening further communication channels and network available to customers and to operate more cost effective platforms for group, product and services marketing and promotion.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible in managing social media presence for Finance House Group.
- Develop social media roadmaps and tactics.
- Developing social media content calendars and activations for social media channels.
- Execute daily tasks of social media strategy across identified digital platforms.
- Community Management across social Media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram); including publishing content, performing enhancements and modifications coordinating prompt responses to questions and comments over social media platforms.
- Strategically monitor & report on relevant social media.
- Provide leadership and guidance in developing and implementing external social media strategies that maximize the potential of platforms that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with other departments in the development and implementation of creative social media strategies/campaigns for promotion of various group companies and their products and events advocacy.
- Produce reports that analyze campaign performance, sentiment, and trends in order to improve the social media strategy and provide insight to the commercial organization.
- Support in evolving Finance House's approach to using social media in issues and crisis management.
- Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments and identify best approach for social media channels and participation in the UAE
- Support internal business units in their communication needs on the social sphere
- Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent (in terms of style, quality, and tone) and optimized for search, thus creating a positive user online experience.
- Mapping out a social media marketing strategy which supports and expands short- and long-term marketing initiatives, determining which methods or channels are most effective for the brand and understanding the underlying reasons.
- Managing and consistently developing a functional social media content calendar.
Requirements
- Experience in managing paid campaigns to achieve commercial and engagement related objectives
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
- Must have digital or advertising agency experience and proven experience delivering social media strategy
- Track record of delivering successful programs and working in a goal-focused environment
- Proactive individual who can thrive in a high-pressure and dynamic environment
- Experience working with senior and top leadership
- Proven ability to collaborate across division to implement processes and achieve results. Track record of building and maintaining productive relationships with multiple stakeholders, including working closely with department heads.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task efficiently and respond to ongoing requests in a timely fashion.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge, use and ability to explain new media tools, social media and platforms.
- Passion for new and emerging media channels and technology
- Strong customer-service orientation required. Ability to develop productive relationships with internal clients and external constituencies required.
- Knowledge of financial and banking industry with financial instrument understanding is a must in order to be able to efficiently market products and services to the general public.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or Communications.
Experience
- 5+ years of work experience in social media and online or digital sphere.
