Position: Social Media Strategist

Location: [Alexandria]

Type: [Full-time]

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Social Media Strategy:
  • Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and brand identity.
  • Identify target audiences, key performance indicators (KPIs), and content themes for each platform (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
  1. Content Creation and Curation:
  • Work with the creative team to generate engaging, original content for social media, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and infographics.
  • Curate relevant content from third-party sources to support brand engagement and authority.
  1. Campaign Management:
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and organic strategies.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies for better reach and engagement.
  1. Social Media Monitoring and Engagement:
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, audience sentiment, and competitor activities.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive community relationships.
  1. Analytics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement rates, impressions, conversions, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and social platform analytics.
  • Prepare regular reports to present insights, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  1. Trend Analysis:
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and algorithm changes in social media platforms to adjust strategies and maintain an innovative approach.
  1. Collaborate Across Teams:
  • Work closely with content creators, designers, and other marketing team members to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure that social media efforts align with overall business objectives.
  1. Influencer and Community Management:
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers and key community members to drive engagement and partnerships.
  • Manage influencer campaigns, tracking their effectiveness and ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Strategist, Digital Marketer, or related role.
  • Expertise in managing and growing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking with a data-driven mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.).
  • Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
