Job Summary:
The Social Platforms Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective social media marketing strategies, primarily focused on TikTok and Snapchat. This role requires a deep understanding of these rapidly evolving social platforms, the ability to create engaging content, and a data-driven approach to optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for TikTok and Snapchat to support the overall marketing and business objectives
- Create high-performing, platform-specific content including videos, stories, and other creative formats
- Monitor platform trends, analyze data, and report on key performance metrics to inform content and strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, design, video production) to ensure cohesive brand messaging and visuals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest platform features, algorithm changes, and best practices
- Identify opportunities for influencer marketing, paid advertising, and other platform-specific tactics
- Continuously test and optimize content, campaigns, and strategies to improve engagement and drive measurable results
- Provide recommendations and insights to leadership on social media trends, emerging opportunities, and platform-specific strategies
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on TikTok and Snapchat
- Proven track record of creating viral, engaging content for social platforms
- Excellent understanding of TikTok and Snapchat platform mechanics, algorithms, and best practices
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools and data-driven decision making
- Strong creative and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop compelling, on-brand content
- Adaptability and willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing social media landscape
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with influencers and managing influencer marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with video editing and content creation tools
