Software Application Tester

800 Storage is a fast-growing Storage provider that offers multiple solutions to both businesses

and individuals. Our mission is to leverage space capacities by providing a combination of space

with the latest technologies and customer service practices to manage it.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Website/Software Application Tester to join our

dynamic team that will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our websites/software

applications through rigorous testing procedures and executing test cases, identifying defects, and

collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues.

What you'll do:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly assess our

websites/software applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the reliability

and stability of our websites and software products across different platforms and browsers.

Document and report defects, issues, and anomalies encountered during testing using

designated bug tracking tools.

Collaborate with software developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve identified

issues in a timely manner.

Conduct usability testing to evaluate the user experience and interface of websites/software

applications.

Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide feedback on system

requirements and design specifications.

Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies

to continuously improve testing processes.

Communicate test results and status updates to project stakeholders, including managers,

developers, and product owners.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated testing frameworks and tools

to streamline testing processes.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and

deliver high-quality websites and software products on schedule.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a

related field.

Proven experience in website and software testing methodologies, including manual and

automated testing techniques.

Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex

technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar is a plus.

Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP is a plus.
