Software Developer (Business Management Systems)

Smart Factory Co. is seeking to hire candidates for the position ofSoftware Developer (Business Management Systems)to join our team in Cairo.

Experience Level: 3+ years of experience in developing and customizing business management systems

Job Responsibilities:

1. Development and Customization:

- Develop custom modules and features in our business management system based on client needs.

- Customize existing modules and workflows to align with specific business processes.

- Create and modify scripts, forms, reports, and print formats for optimized performance.

2. System Integration and API Management:

- Integrate the system with third-party applications using APIs.

- Maintain and improve existing integrations to enhance overall system functionality.

3. Data Management:

- Oversee data imports and exports, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Develop scripts for data migration and support data transformation processes.

4. Technical Support and Maintenance:

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to modules and integrations.

- Perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

5. User Training and Documentation:

- Provide training and technical support to end-users on custom features and workflows.

- Document development processes, configurations, and best practices.

6. Quality Assurance:

- Conduct code reviews and maintain adherence to coding standards.

- Test new features and customizations to ensure they are reliable and performant.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.

- Experience with frameworks for business management solutions.

- Familiarity with database systems like MariaDB/MySQL and RESTful APIs.

- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

- Additional Skills:

- Basic understanding of accounting and key business operations.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap) is advantageous.

- Ability to write efficient, clean, and well-documented code.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in full-cycle development of business management systems.

- Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, and other relevant business processes.

- Experience deploying business applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or MS Azure.
