SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (DJANGO)

POSITION SUMMARY

Spinneys, the UAE's leading premium food retailer, is looking for a team player, with a can-do attitude, an eye for detail and able to apply their skills in a prompt & practical manner as SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

ORGANIZATIONAL FIT

This person reports directly to the SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

REQUIRED experience and attributes

• Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• minimum 7-8 years of experience in core Python development using Django Framework
• in Wagtail CMS and Django Oscar
• of Django fundamentals like middleware, REST APIs and serializers
• knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL
• of Agile Methodology of development
• in application deployment on Azure server.
• Solving aptitude, Responsive, and having good Communication skills.
• Analytical ability and Quick learner
• of code-repository tools like GIT, VSS or Tortoise SVN
• in at least one front-end technology such as Angular, Vue or React JS
• command in English
• communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to simplify or articulate matters logically and to manage stakeholders effectively,
• responsive and strong team player as well as having ability to work independently,
• to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
