We are hiring a Software Project Manager who will lead the delivery process of the project and to ensure the execution of project activities, cost, quality and time goes as planned, also identifying risks that might get into the way, plan accordingly, to ensure smooth & secure project delivery achieving the highest level of satisfaction from key stakeholders.
Initiation & Planning Phase
- Establish and maintain plans that define project activities, hold project initiation & planning activities that includes:
- Receiving PO and initial documents
- Plan and attend Internal kick off meetings and ensure meeting minutes & requirements are fully understood and shared with internal team and update high level plan accordingly
- Plan and attend external kick off meetings and ensure all relevant documentations are ready for the presentation and all requirements scooping sessions, RSD is accepted by client
- Ensure risk & change management plan for the projects is drafted and ready to be implemented when required.
Requirement Analysis & Development Phase
- Elicit, analyze, and establish customer solution detailed requirements in alignment with the BA team
- Ensure that all requirements are verified technically, measurable and owned by accountable team members with clear time boundaries
- Ensure all relevant documents are updated, shared with team, and approved by client and receive customer final sign off
Technical Design & Development Phase
- Participate in drafting detailed iteration plan for development phases in alignment with the assigned tech lead
- Follow up on project implementation progress and ensure execution is moving forward in accurate timeline as planned and ensure consistent reporting to the service delivery manager
UAT & Go Life Phase:
- Ensure all bugs got fixed with QC team and the solution meets acceptance criteria
- Plan project launch with key internal & external stakeholders and ensure all prerequisites are met that includes (Security scan, approvals, CR for downtime,) and ready to launch
- Set launch date and confirm environment readiness with key internal & external stakeholders
- Review deployment checklist with key internal team that includes (Deployment, Data migration, QC smoke test, regression test, load test, security test, domain configuration, SMTP,..)
Sign off & Closure
- Ensure all documents are updated internally of VSTS in alignment with the configuration manager
- Ensure final status is well communicated to key internal & external stakeholders
- Confirm completion of project deliverables by delivering source code, updated project documents
- Schedule & attend closure meeting with client
- Schedule & attend retrospective and closure meeting with key internal team and communicate resource release status with the SDM.
Requirements
- BSc of Computer science, Computer Engineering, or ITI
- At least 8 years of work experience, 3 of them in similar PM post
