Software QA Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the development process by designing and executing test plans to identify issues and ensure our applications and websites meet the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the best possible user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure fixes do not affect existing functionality.
• Participate in product design and review meetings to ensure quality standards are met.
• Stay updated on the latest QA tools, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• +2 experience as a Software QA Engineer, preferably in web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and tools.
• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Familiarity with issue tracking systems like Jira or Trello.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and APIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Work model: Hybrid.
