Job Summary: The Sales Manager for Software Products is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve sales targets and grow revenue through the sale of our software solutions. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software sales and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth for software products.
  • Identify new market opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development to the sales team.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Sales Operations:
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the companys software products and their features.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
  • Coordinate with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience in selling ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software solutions.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in the software industry.
