Job Description

Lead a team of software test automation engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for various software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather test requirements, define test automation strategies, and ensure test coverage
Manage and prioritize test automation activities, assign tasks, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members
Create and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and stability of software applications
Identify, analyze, and document software defects and inconsistencies
Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions
Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to improve test coverage and reliability
Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process
Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to ensure efficient and effective test automation
Provide training and guidance to team members on test automation best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in test automation
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python
Proven experience in leading and managing a team of software test automation engineers
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
Experience in web and mobile application testing
Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or Bamboo
ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus
