Position Objective:
The Solution Architect will play a critical role in leading a team and driving the digital transformation within the construction industry, enhancing data management and analytics, and implementing robust, scalable solutions across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The role involves designing the architectural roadmap to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals and construction project workflows, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and project alignment.
Job Descriptions & Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Deployment
- Design and deploy tailored solutions for the construction industry, covering both on-premises systems and Azure cloud applications, focusing on project management, analytics, and operational support.
- Lead architecture strategies for data management and information systems that align with construction workflows, promoting efficiency and innovation across projects.
Project Leadership & Accountability
- Oversee architecture projects, ensuring seamless transitions from solution design to project delivery teams.
- Be accountable for meeting project schedules, maintaining quality in all deliverables, and aligning with construction timelines and project goals.
Architecture Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain architecture models that support construction project management, asset management, and operations.
- Contribute to long-term strategic planning and establish an operational architecture that aligns with evolving construction industry needs.
Strategic Advisory & Methodology Development
- Provide expert advice on architecture strategies, best practices, and methodologies to create scalable and sustainable solutions for construction projects.
- Collaborate with construction teams and key stakeholders to align solution objectives with industry-specific architectural and regulatory requirements.
Architecture Roadmap & Future State Development
- Lead Architecture Working Groups to maintain a cohesive architecture roadmap that optimizes construction workflows and integrates modern technologies.
- Participate in developing future-state architecture for construction projects, aligning with the latest innovations in construction technology and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years in solution architecture, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors, with experience in both cloud and on-premises solutions.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services, solution design, and architecture frameworks relevant to construction technology.
- Familiarity with construction data management, analytics, and project management systems.
- Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and methodologies specific to construction workflows.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with construction teams to ensure solution alignment.
- Certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) or construction project management.
- Experience managing architecture roadmaps for construction or project-based industries and demonstrated ability to align architecture strategies with long-term construction objectives.
