At Alica we specialize in naturally-leavened bread and laminated pastries and offer a weekly changing seasonal lunch and snack menu.
Our ethos is simple: Work with local farms and craftsmen who share the belief that good quality ingredients should be for everyone. We will do our utmost to source local, seasonal and organic produce from the UAE.
Contribute to the development of breakfast, lunch, and pasta menus, emphasizing organic ingredients, vegetables, and a balanced inclusion of meat and dairy.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless integration of your culinary creations with our baked goods.
Prepare and cook a variety of items with attention to consistency, high-quality taste, and visually appealing presentations.
Assist in preparing daily spreads, salads, layered sandwiches,pickles, syrups and freshly made pasta.
Support the kitchen leadership in maintaining organization, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards.
Collaborate with the team to uphold high standards of culinary excellence.
Assist in sourcing and selecting organic, locally-sourced ingredients, contributing to the bakery's commitment to quality and sustainability.
Seasonal Offerings:
Stay informed about seasonal produce and actively participate in incorporating them into menu offerings.
Proven experience as a Chef in a culinary setting with a focus on organic, vegetable-centric, and balanced meat and dairy dishes.
Knowledge of organic and seasonal ingredients.
Creativity and ability to contribute to the development of unique, visually appealing dishes.
Team player with effective communication skills and positive attitude.
