We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Sous Chef with expertise in
Lebanese cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, development, and execution of dishes.
- Prepare and cook Lebanese dishes, ensuring authenticity and quality.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities.
- Maintain inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in techniques and presentation.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Contribute to the creation of special events and seasonal menus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a Lebanese or Mediterranean kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of Lebanese cooking techniques and traditional dishes.
- Excellent culinary skills and a creative approach to food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Food safety certification is a plus.
