Job Description

Job Purpose:

This role will ensure that the Inventory of the company is optimized on cost effective manner by analyzing demand requirements, timely placing/maintaining purchase orders and assuring healthy stock is available to cover the customer demand. Develop excellent relationship with principal to give the customers the best service with the best price. Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet customer demands on time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to procurement, inventory and warehousing to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow.
  • Ensure that the demand requirement by customers is met in a timely and cost-effective manner by forecasting future inventory plan.
  • Manage inventory levels and analyze data to achieve high level off the shelf availability
  • Review purchase order to ensure it is matching with the company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures
  • Continuously prepare suppliers evaluation record.
  • Develop and make the necessary improvements to the existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations cost
  • Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet customer demands on time.
  • Prepare and implement inventory check plan to ensure there is no discrepancies or within the company policy.
  • Monitor the inventory and take the necessary actions against the slow or non-moving items
  • Maintain the procurement and inventory KPIs at highest level.
  • Maintain the relationship with principal at highest level.
  • Comply with the HSE rules.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • Vocational certificate in Supply Chain management would be added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years experience of procurement and inventory management

Knowledge & Skills

  • Administration and management, knowledge of business and management principles, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
  • Problem Solving, identifying the problems and propose the solution.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems or similar
  • Fluent in English.
