Job Purpose:
- Carry out the process of Credit Card, Debit Card, renewal, replacement, reissue and cancellation.
- Processing the settlements of Credit Cards, Debit Cards and UAESWITCH transactions.
- Handle the charge-backs claims and disputes in the card accounts.
- Handle card activation, deactivation and blocking.
- Process Additional Payments in Credit Card Accounts.
- Perform the card account data update.
- Display UAB values of Integrity, Customer focus, Competence, Consistency and Courteousness
- Timely reporting to concerned parties on all Operational Risk, Fraud and AML issues.
- Risk Management obligation is the systematic application of management policies, procedures and practices to the tasks of identifying, analyzing, evaluating, treating and monitoring risk. This helps to mitigate risks to acceptable levels of management
Principal Accountabilities:
- Credit Card Creation: verify correctness and authenticity of the Credit Card applications and required documents
- Debit Card Creation: Ensure smooth running and timely processing of the card embossing file received from Misys system as part of the account opening process as per SLA.
- Preparing and issuance of supplementary cards, reissuance & replacement of cards in the Card Management System (HPS Power Card) as per SLA
- Cancellation/blocking of Cards: Carry out card cancellation/ blocking process on the basis of authentic requests from clients or concerned Branches with relevant reasons.
- Activation and deactivation of the cards: Activation and deactivation of the card at the request of the customer after proper identification or upon request from the concerned Branch's card custodian
- Ensure compliance with bank's policy and procedures while carrying out the functions
- Ensure correctness of the data entered in the system to avoid production of faulty cards and adverse impact on customer service.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in Commere/Finance through a recognised institution
- 2 years of experience in Cards operation including 14 years retail banking operations.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Good understanding of protocols and procedures to be compliant with UAE regulations and requirements.
