Job Title: Specialist Cards Operations
Department: Operations / Cards Management
Line Manager: Unit Head, Card Operations
Job Purpose:
- Process Credit/Debit Card issuance, renewal, replacement, reissue, and cancellation.
- Manage settlements, chargebacks, disputes, activations, deactivations, and payments.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, risk management, and fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process credit/debit card applications, embossing, and issuance as per SLA.
- Manage card activation, deactivation, blocking, and cancellations upon request.
- Handle settlements for credit, debit, and UAESWITCH transactions.
- Process chargeback claims and customer disputes per VISA, MasterCard, and UAESWITCH guidelines.
- Maintain records, reconcile transactions, and generate MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal risk management frameworks.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Accuracy in processing and data entry.
- Timely settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Compliance with bank policies and fraud prevention measures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Graduate
- Experience: 2+ years in Cards Operations, 14+ years in Retail Banking preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and supervisory skills.
- Organizational awareness and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of UAE banking regulations and compliance.
