SearchPlus HR, a leading human resources consulting firm, is in search of a skilled and dedicated Specialist Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus. Your expertise in surgical procedures and comprehensive patient care will significantly contribute to improving the health and well-being of our patients.
As a Specialist Consultant, you will perform in-depth evaluations, recommend and conduct surgical interventions, and provide ongoing post-operative care. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure that patients receive multifaceted care tailored to their specific needs. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in colon and rectal surgery will be vital for delivering top-notch treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical history and symptoms
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests such as colonoscopies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests
- Diagnose and treat various conditions related to the colon, rectum, and anus
- Perform surgical procedures including colectomies, rectal resections, and minimally invasive surgeries
- Prescribe medications and other treatments to manage patient recovery and symptoms
- Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay informed on the latest techniques and studies in colon and rectal surgery
Requirements
- Medical degree and current license to practice as a Specialist Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Demonstrated experience in performing a range of colon and rectal surgical procedures
- Strong knowledge of surgical techniques and patient management in colon and rectal health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients
