Specialist Dermatologist

Purpose

The role of the Dermatologist is to conduct screenings, skin evaluations, and analyze the client's medical history to determine appropriate treatments. The Dermatologist also provides clinical leadership, professional medical direction and services to Skin Laundry including, but not limited to, developing, and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices within the Dermatology department.

As the Medical Director the role will provide clinical leadership and professional medical direction to the Clinic as well as offers consultation, diagnosis, and Dermatology treatments to clients. The Medical Director is also responsible for working with fellow team members in developing and implementing policies, procedures and adopting best practices.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Consult, diagnose and provide skin care treatments to clients and conduct skin examinations.

Conduct a competent physical assessment using all resources at hand, observation and communication.

Perform various cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, chemical peeling, Dermal fillers, PRP and microdermabrasion, threads etc.

Provide treatment of facial skin to maintain and improve its appearance, including understanding about the sun and its effect on the skin.

Administer chemical treatments keeping pace with latest developments in the field.

Participate and provide clinical leadership in the development and review of appropriate protocols that support consistent care.

Ensures timely and accurate documentation of all client records according to Skin Laundry's protocols and standards.

Ensure all clients have their needs met and receive appropriate attention.

Ensure that all procedures follow regulatory standards.

Influence and facilitate change within the department to improve standards of care.

Anticipate, recognize and manage emergencies, and unsafe situations/practice, and initiates appropriate and timely intervention.

Promote an environment that enables client safety, independence, quality of life and health.

Keep updated with the latest innovation and advancements as expertise.

Provide excellent client care and feedback.

Job requirements

Analytical, quantitative and communication skills (written & verbal).

Be computer literate in Microsoft Word / Excel

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Master's Degree in Dermatology

Western Board certified preferred

The ideal candidate must have a valid medical license to practice in KSA or be eligible to obtain the license.

Professional Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Dermatologist

Must have experience in PRP, Antiaging mesotherapy, micro dermabrasion, derma roller, skin rejuvenation etc.
