JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for analysing business data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role involves preparing detailed reports for leadership, conducting market research, and using advanced coding skills to ensure data accuracy and detect anomalies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
- Conduct data analysis from a business perspective to provide valuable insights.
- Develop and issue weekly reports to the President of Cargo Handling.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly BoD reports.
- Compile quarterly reports for shareholders.
Technical Skills and Anomaly Detection
- Utilize coding skills in Python, R, and SQL to analyze data and develop insights and advanced visualization.
- Develop ML and LLM models.
- Implement sophisticated anomaly detection techniques to identify and address irregularities in data.
Business Proposal Analysis
Study and analyze new business proposals, providing comprehensive evaluations and recommendations.
Market Research and Benchmarking
Conduct market research to benchmark the company against competitors and discover new business opportunities.
Reporting and Communication
- Organize and supervise the activities of monthly reporting for Business Intelligence to the Board of Directors.
- Manage KPI reporting on a weekly basis and for quarterly meetings.
- Develop and maintain a reporting deck for operational management, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
Collaboration and Process Improvement
- Analyze and develop Business Intelligence data in collaboration with process and procedure specialists.
- Establish and develop productivity gains for the operation.
- Foster a common understanding of operational KPIs among middle management.
Operational Planning and Meetings
- Develop short- and long-term manpower planning for agents and laborers.
- Participate in weekly operational meetings to align strategies and operations.
- Ensure all KPIs comply with international standards (IATA and Cargo IMP messages).
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in customer meetings, specifically with airline customers, to address their needs and concerns.
- Monitor operating conditions to identify and resolve potential problems promptly.
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field.
- Experience with Python, R, and SQL
