Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's physical and digital assets. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
Implement physical security systems and coordinate with IT and vendors on new security installations (CCTV and Access Control)
Ensure that all physical assets, employee, and data are always protected by implementing the physical security procedure and policy.
Create and implement security procedures and operations security (OPSEC) in accordance with established corporate policies, regulations, directives, and operating procedures.
Provide support, guidance, and leadership for all physical security measures at the company to include access control, intrusion detection systems, CCTV, and other physical security protection requirements.
Ensure the optimization of physical security documentation, including directives, procedures, standards, to ensure effectiveness and to validate against industry best practices.
Engage and educate employees on physical security awareness.
Manage and support physical security incidents.
Lead and manage physical access control (onboarding and offboarding)
Keep all users (employees, contractors, and visitors) safe and enable timely crisis management by providing physical security advice as needed.
Hire, manage and evaluate contracted security guarding services, monitor their KPI's.
Prepare SOPs, work instructions & procedure as per business requirements.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management as requested.
Maintain confidentiality of information and handle information as per company Policies and Procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years prior security management experience in the private sector
Conversant with the PC operation, Windows systems, and security equipment
Knowledge and experience with access control systems and camera systems is required.
Excellent communication ability (verbal, written, and presentation) and an effective team player.
8+ years of working experience in managing physical security within UAE.
Experience with security technologies including CCTVs, Access Control and Security operations centre.
Strong command in English Language in both oral and verbal communication
Good Microsoft Office Knowledge
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound business decisions.
Proven ability to handle confidential information and multiple tasks.
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
