Role Description

Are you a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist seeking a rewarding career path We're a UK therapy group called Express Therapy. We are opening a new branch in Jeddah. We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate SLT to join our team. This exciting opportunity is open to qualified candidates from both inside and outside of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Therapy
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in Paediatrics
• Possession of a Saudi Commission for Health Specialities (SCHS) or eligibility from home country ( i.e. HCPC, HCPSA)
• Competent in writing assessment and progress reports
• Experience in working with approaches and systems such as Makaton, PECS, PROMPT, SCERTS and TEACCH (desirable)
• Proficient in both written and spoken English
• Skilled in conducting assessments and generating progress reports
• Perform standardized assessments, write report results and discuss it with parents or relevant individuals
• Write an individualized Therapy plan that targets students weaknesses. Indicate methods, strategies and evaluation procedure in the IEP.
• Speech Therapy and Communication Disorders
• Experience in treating Language Disorders

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken Arabic
