As a Splunk Consultant, expertise in configuring, deploying, and optimizing Splunk solutions will be essential. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Implementation:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design effective Splunk solutions.
- Deploy and configure Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Enterprise Security based on client needs.
- Develop custom Splunk apps, dashboards, and reports.
Splunk Administration:
- Manage Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations.
- Ensure data ingestion, retention, and security best practices.
Security and Compliance:
- Utilize Splunk for security information and event management (SIEM).
- Investigate security incidents, detect anomalies, and create correlation searches.
- Assist in compliance reporting and auditing.
Integration and Automation:
- Integrate Splunk with other tools and platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts for data collection and automation.
Training and Support:
- Train end-users and administrators on Splunk usage and best practices.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
You should hold at least two of the following certifications:
- Splunk Certified Power User
- Splunk Certified Admin
- Splunk Certified Architect
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Splunk.

- Knowledge of regular expressions, field extractions, and data normalization.
