The AlZahrawan Foundation for Sustainable Development is an Egyptian non-profit development organization with no political, partisan, or religious affiliations. Founded in 2011 with registration number 8369 by the Ministry of Social Solidarity and in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 84 for the year 2002, the foundation receives and disburses zakat and charity funds through institutional and scientific methods to achieve sustainable principles. The foundation embraces the concept of social, economic, and environmental safety and protection, aiming to develop deserving individuals and provide them with the necessary support to meet their life needs and empower them economically to become productive and beneficial members of their community.

The foundation also implements several projects within presidential initiatives and has signed cooperation protocols in various fields. It adopts sustainable consumption patterns and promotes environmental awareness due to their impact on people's lives and development rates. The foundation supports entrepreneurs by supporting their development projects and improving their production level, providing permanent markets for their products, and raising the economic level of their households to ensure the sustainability of development. Additionally, the foundation supports volunteer work with the aim of creating generations that understand the importance of humanitarian giving and love for their country.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sponsorship & Fundraising Expert at the AlZahrawan Foundation for Sustainable Development. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to sponsorship acquisition, fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and grant writing. The role will be based in New Cairo but with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Experience in sponsorship acquisition and fundraising campaigns
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and grant writing
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising programs
• Experience in the non-profit sector
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
