About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sports Massage Therapist to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality sports massage therapy to a diverse range of clients, including athletes and active individuals. Your expertise will help alleviate pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall performance, playing a crucial role in injury prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Sports Massage Treatment

Provide expert sports massage therapy using a variety of techniques such as Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, and other specialized treatments tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation

Assist clients in preventing sports-related injuries and provide post-event recovery massages to reduce soreness, improve circulation, and alleviate muscle tightness. Offer treatments to aid in the rehabilitation of injuries and promote faster recovery.

• Client Education

Educate clients on muscle care, stretching routines, and injury prevention strategies to support their long-term health and performance goals.

• Collaborative Care

Work alongside other healthcare professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, personal trainers) to ensure a holistic approach to client care, performance enhancement, and injury recovery.

• Client-Centered Approach

Customize each treatment based on individual needs and goals, ensuring an effective and tailored approach to every session.

Requirements

• Certification or diploma in Sports Massage Therapy or a related field.
• Proven experience providing Sports Massage Therapy (experience working with athletes is a plus).
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and common sports injuries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Passionate about helping clients improve their mobility, reduce pain, and enhance performance.
