We are currently seeking a skilled Spray Painter.
Responsibilities:
Preparing Surfaces: Thoroughly clean and prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure proper adhesion of paint and a smooth finish.
Color Matching: Match paint colors to the original or desired shade using color charts, mixing formulas, and computerized systems.
Paint Application: Apply paint to vehicles using various techniques such as spraying, brushing, or rolling, ensuring an even and flawless coat. Use appropriate equipment and tools for each application method.
Quality Control: Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections, such as runs, sags, or uneven texture, and correct any issues to achieve a high-quality finish.
Material Handling: Properly handle and store paints, solvents, and other chemicals, following safety guidelines and regulations.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, compressors, and paint booths, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper ventilation, and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
