JOB PURPOSE:
Liaise with Maintenance Planners for shutdown (SD), turnaround (TA) materials requirements and generate schedule requirement through MRP cycle. Answer suppliers queries and facilitates the expediting of material required in the timeliest and efficient manner possible.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Review and analyze Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure planned orders are correctly processed, materials lead time, past consumption reorder levels and generate accurate purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Follow up on inventory (value, line items, consumption history, etc.).
- Analyze the inventory level change request and approve or reject based on the given procedures or a clear justification from the end-user.
- Review the inventory value (QTY) through implementing the cycle account process to compare, adjust, and investigate the main cause of the discrepancy and establish action plan to avoid future repetition.
- Review, analyze, and approve PR capital items that come from the end-user.
- Process and report the requirements documents through the system in order to keep the effectiveness of controlling the materials database and value.
- Develop and use of sound inventory management and standardization material management processes while keeping a high level of end-user focus and satisfactions.
- Evaluate, research, specify, design, control, and develop plant materials through collaboration with the end-user to modify materials in different ways to improve the performance, durability, cost optimization, and effectiveness of processes.
- Direct, review, and approve inventory value, design, changes, and materials description.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor/manager.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Materials Management or equivalent.
Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of Materials Management experience.
Previous experience in a large/heavy industry stores / Oil & Gas industry is a preference.
