Job Purpose:
The Asset Operation (Chemicals & Agri-Nutrients) Engineer is an active member of a High Caliber Operations Experts Professionals in the following fields:
- Glycol, Methanol or Agri-Nutrients.
- Petrochemical Efficacy Improvement and cost optimization.
The role is critical for the Manufacturing Processes helping in driving MFG Excellence.
Key Accountabilities:
- The Asset Operation Engineer works with other team members globally to assure creating opportunities to continuously recognize and achieve high standards in terms of plant performance.
- Assure operations Discipline compliance and drive Operational Integrity Maturity level to highest standards, bringing State of Art models/tools in operating Petrochemical Facilities Globally, guided by Manufacturing Strategy plans.
- Deliver knowledge sharing through development and conducting specialized training programs to leverage own experience and skills to enhance the site frontlines (Supervisors, engineers and Operations) personnel Knowledge.
- Retain operational knowledge through sharing and ensuring learnings are embedded in all relevant systems (BP, SMS, PDPs, SES, TAetc) and supports different assessment types (i.e. AIR, ALC, TARA, Projects PRPs..etc).
- Extend Technical Support to sites globally to assure agility to support chronical cases and burning platforms.
- Provide expertise for critical RCAs, Cold Eye reviews, BM,..etc. Above all,
- Provide an overarching support to the execution of manufacturing strategy objectives related to operations.
- Provide areas of expertise to achieve Excellence in EHSS, Reliable, Asset Utilization and Operation Cost Optimization across all Global SABIC Sites, through:
- Leveraging AO expertise in enhancing EHSS and Quality Management system deployment, requirements, and continuance improvement.
- Conducting advance Analyze leveraging AO competencies (Modeling, Simulation, Sensitivity analysis ..., etc ) in order to deliver the most optimized Solutions & Improvements for Sabic Site Globally.
- Development and deployment of world class practices and functional expertise utilizing internal Networking & knowledge management and sharing related experiences.
- Identify improvement opportunities through internal networks and assemble Taskforce Team to leverage the Learning and Value Creation to all Sabic Sites Globally.
- Develop medium-long term strategies and working with sites globally to support the executions and endorsing the achieved maturities.
- Participate in Projects and growth to deliver expertise in Asset Operation in virus of Project Stages (including the Manufacturing Philosophy consultation and PRP participation).
- Support T&I related projects, process, sustainability, energy and carbon neutrality related to Asset Operation.
- Support Sabic Programs/Initiatives according to demand and expertise.
- Support deployment , monitoring and validation the Digitalization Solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 15+ years experience in petrochemical industry in manufacturing with substantial exposure to operational, EHSS requirements and technical activities.
