Job Description
A simulation Engineer playing a crucial role in supporting product development projects under the guidance of an experienced simulation engineer. You will:
Develop simulation models based on technical requirement and perform structural evaluation using
numerical methods.
Analyze, determine, and identify cause-effect relationship and functional parameters of a system.
Analyze system throughput bottleneck and propose design improvements.
Analyze and develop technical solutions in cooperation with project team members.
Perform measurement and testing for simulation correlation.
Develop simulation models, sharing best practices and guidelines to ensure synergy.
Create and maintain simulation models, results, and technical documentation.
Follow project schedule according to product development process.
Successful participation in BES-PE training, and apply content-driven engineering (follow BES-PE
principles).
Apply all processes according to valid PT and Bosch procedures as published in BGN.
Support and take over special tasks as assigned by superior.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, Master Degree or PhD in Engineering or equivalent.
Fresh graduate or less than 3 years of professional experience in the area of simulation (CFD, FEA, and/or MBD).
Exposure to product and component design (plastic/metal housing and machine element).
Exposure to plastic and metal manufacturing process (injection molding, die casting, sintering, forging, machining, heat treatment).
Exposure to Product Development Process.
Exposure tin international project teams communicating in English.
Basic knowledge in at least 1 simulation domain (Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Multi-body Dynamics (MBD))
Basic knowledge in statistics and the use of statistical software, preferably Minitab.
Good analytical skills and theoretical knowledge in engineering.
Able to understand and derive cause-effect relationships.
Good written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English.
Familiar with CAD software, preferably Creo.
Familiar with simulation software, preferably Abaqus, CFX, FloEFD, Hyperworks, MSC ADAMS.
Familiar with programming languages, preferably FAMOS, MATLAB, Python, R, VBA.
Highly motivated to learn and develop competency in own field.
