Job Details
Develop and implement the companys governance and ESG strategies in alignment with the companys overall objectives and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements related to governance and ESG matters.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance and ESG considerations into business decision-making processes and operations.
Lead the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to enhance transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organization.
Monitor and evaluate ESG performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote the companys ESG initiatives and sustainability efforts, building strong relationships and enhancing the companys reputation.
Stay abreast of emerging ESG trends, standards, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement and innovation in governance and sustainability practices.
In brief, The incumbent needs to demonstrate good number of years working in this area. And needs to demonstrate experience working on Governance or ESG initiatives includes the following:
Developing and implementing ESG policies and procedures.
Conducting ESG risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Supporting ESG data collection and reporting.
Contributing to sustainability reporting or integrated reports.
Participating in stakeholder engagement related to Governance or ESG issues.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business administration, sustainability, environmental management, or relevant field. Masters degree or professional certification in ESG or governance is a plus.
Proven experience in governance, risk management, and ESG, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to governance and ESG, particularly in the Saudi Arabian context.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across diverse organizational levels.
Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute long-term governance and ESG strategies aligned with business objectives.
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility, with a track record of delivering impactful ESG initiatives.
Fluency in English
