Job Title: Sr Governance Specialist - Large-scale IT Projects

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment type: 12 month contract (extendable)

I'm currently partnered with a leading Cloud & AI Computing Organisation who are seeking talented individuals to join their team on a 12 month contract basis.

Discovered MENA is currently hiring for a full-time for a Sr. Governance Specialist with at least 7 years of experience managing and governing large scale projects/programs. The ideal candidate is certified in the project management & service management functions.

Requirements:

• Managing governance of IT processes / projects (preferably within the healthcare sector)
• Governs the IT projects lifecycle from initiation until closure by ensuring all projects
• follow the organization's IT Project Management Methodology
• Manage the quality control over project deliverables and status reports
• Manages the IT Demand Management and the Sprint Planning processes
• Leads the IT governance boards and committees
• Documents and keeps IT governance policies and procedures up to date
• Manages IT risks and internal controls
• Manages central repositories of all IT PMO documentation

Required Certifications:

• Project Management (PMP Certification or similar)
• Service Management (ITIL Functions, Governance, Agile Sprints etc.)
