Sr. Product Manager

Role Summary :

As the Senior Product Manager for WMS and Logistics, you will take ownership of Floward's post-order journey, managing the end-to-end fulfillment process through our Warehouse Management System and optimizing our logistics and delivery networks. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, minimize delivery times, and improve return handling to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This role requires a strong technical understanding of WMS and logistics systems, as well as the ability to lead teams, drive strategic initiatives, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

WMS & Logistics Strategy and Vision

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Floward's WMS and logistics, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop a long-term vision to support Floward's growth and optimize the post-order experience from warehouse operations to final delivery and returns.
• Lead initiatives to improve real-time inventory management, order accuracy, and automation within the WMS.

Fulfillment & Order Management

• Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process within the WMS, ensuring efficient order picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline processes, reduce operational costs, and improve order throughput.
• Establish metrics and reporting tools to monitor order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and warehouse productivity.

Delivery and Last-Mile Optimization

• Oversee logistics operations, including last-mile delivery, to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Develop strategies to optimize routing, driver allocation, and load balancing for peak efficiency, while maintaining high on-time delivery rates.
• Implement real-time tracking and customer communication features to enhance the delivery experience and provide visibility.

Returns & Reverse Logistics Management

• Build a streamlined, customer-friendly returns process, ensuring efficiency in handling returned items, quality checks, and reintegration into inventory.
• Develop return policies that align with Floward's customer experience standards and operational goals.
• Implement reverse logistics solutions to minimize the impact of returns on costs and operations while maintaining a high standard of service.

Technical Product Management for WMS

• Lead the technical development of Floward's WMS, including system upgrades, integrations, and customizations to support evolving business needs.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of WMS with other systems, such as ERP and logistics platforms.
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives, such as barcode scanning, RFID tracking, and real-time inventory updates, to enhance operational efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Leadership

• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, customer support, and engineering teams to align product initiatives and ensure end-to-end process optimization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for WMS and logistics-related topics, providing expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and support junior product managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

Data-Driven Optimization and Continuous Improvement

• Use data analytics to monitor WMS and logistics performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
• Conduct regular reviews of KPIs such as order accuracy, delivery times, return rates, and operational costs to assess performance.
• Implement A/B testing and experimentation within the WMS to optimize processes, reducing handling times and improving accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years focused on WMS, logistics, or supply chain management within e-commerce or fulfillment-driven industries.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in cross-functional team management.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams, third-party vendors, and senior stakeholders.
• Deep technical understanding of WMS and logistics systems, including familiarity with barcode, RFID, and automation technologies.
• Proven analytical skills with expertise in tools like SQL, Tableau, or similar data analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with product management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
