Job Description

  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of software and product testing within the company.
  • This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports
  • Knowledge of automated test tools; selenium or alike
  • Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases to validate the functionality and performance of software applications
  • Identify, track, and report defects using bug-tracking systems
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements
  • Conduct root cause analysis and work with development teams to resolve issues and improve software quality
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to provide QA updates and insights
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance

Requirements

Education:


  • Engineering or computer science graduate Prior Work Experience:
  • +4 years of experience as QA Engineer
  • experience in manual testing for mobile and web-based applications
  • Agile-based teams experience
  • experience in writing test cases
  • Experience in API-based testing and performance testing
  • Experience in test automation is preferred
  • Experience using test case management tools
  • fintech experience is preferred
