Job Summary:
A Senior Structural Engineer is a tested professional responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing structural systems and components across various project sectors, including healthcare, residential, educational institutes, mixed-use, and industrial. This position requires a thorough understanding of engineering principles, codes, standards, local regulations, and proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, and SAP.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Leads the preparation of relevant discipline design for all stages in accordance with the Initial Project Brief and Design Program.
- Ensuring that all structural designs and implementations adhere to relevant engineering principles, codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
- Ensure project delivery as per the signed contract expected level of deliverables.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables, including BIM spatial reviews (clash detection)
- Assist Lead Designer/Design Manager with preparation of the overall Design Program and responsible for progress/monitoring of structure engineers.
- Provides information for preparation of Cost Information, Value Engineering and Project Strategies
Qualification & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
- Proven experience in multi-story concrete structure & steel structure projects.
- Experience in post-tension design is an advantage
- Able to work on multiple projects of various sizes and complexity.
