Overview
As a Staff Nurse, you will play an important role in providing and coordinating patient care within a healthcare facility. Your commitment, attention to detail, and clinical expertise will contribute to ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing patient health and documenting their medical history
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring and reporting patient symptoms and changes in condition
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Providing patient and family education on disease prevention and management
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
- Participating in patient care conferences and staff meetings
- Assisting with medical procedures and examinations
- Documenting all patient care actions and interventions
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care
- Overseeing the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Supporting and mentoring nursing assistants and other staff
- Adhering to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of patient care regulations and best practices
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion in patient interactions
