Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Staff Nurse - NICU to be based in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. For this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to premature and critically ill infants in the NICU.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and social workers, to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate and support families on care plans, procedures, and available resources, fostering a family-centered approach.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Nursing experience and worked in level 3 NICU (Critically ill premature babies)
Must be eligible to take the SCFHS exam.
Must be NRP Certified
Current licensure as a professional registered nurse.
Proficient in English
