We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Stakeholder Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Stakeholder Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, and managing stakeholder engagement throughout various transport and infrastructure projects.

The Stakeholder Manager will play a crucial role in our organization, responsible for overseeing the seamless acquisition of necessary permits and approvals from various authorities in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the successful candidate will lead and guide a team of stakeholders to ensure cohesive collaboration and successful execution of projects.

Your new role, what's involved

  • Stakeholder Identification: Identify and map relevant stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, community organizations, project partners, and other stakeholders involved in transport and infrastructure projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategy aligned with the company's objectives and project requirements. Foster positive relationships and ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communication Management: Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate exchange of information. Coordinate regular meetings, workshops, and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, milestones, and potential impacts.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government authorities, local communities, and project partners. Develop a deep understanding of their needs, concerns, and expectations and address them proactively to maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Conflict Resolution: Anticipate and address potential conflicts or issues that may arise between stakeholders or during project implementation. Work closely with project teams to develop appropriate mitigation strategies and resolutions, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and project success.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to transport and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
  • Public Relations: Collaborate with the public relations team to develop effective communication materials, press releases, and public announcements related to project milestones, community engagement, and stakeholder involvement. Ensure accurate and consistent messaging to enhance the company's reputation.
  • Stakeholder Analysis and Feedback: Conduct stakeholder analysis to understand their perspectives, needs, and concerns. Collect and analyze stakeholder feedback through surveys, interviews, and other feedback mechanisms. Use the insights gained to enhance stakeholder engagement strategies and improve project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of stakeholders and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the stakeholder team.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. Additional qualifications in stakeholder management, community engagement, or public relations are desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in stakeholder management, public relations, or community engagement, preferably in the transport and infrastructure sector. Experience working with government entities and diverse stakeholder groups is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of stakeholder management principles, public relations strategies, and community engagement practices. Familiarity with transport and infrastructure projects, regulatory requirements, and government processes in Saudi Arabia.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. Ability to tailor communication to different stakeholder groups and effectively convey complex information.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ability to influence and negotiate effectively, manage conflicts, and facilitate consensus among stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic stakeholder engagement plans aligned with project goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to anticipate and address stakeholder concerns.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Result Orientation: Strong project management skills with a focus on achieving results. Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
