STAT & TAX Manager | MAF Global Solutions | Finance
Role Summary
STAT & TAX Manager is to lead a team and oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements, tax returns, and external audit management for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a full team within our internal shared service center, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory and tax regulations for multiple countries, including Egypt, KSA, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, and others. This role requires a strong background in accounting,
ROLE PROFILE
- Lead and manage a team responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements, tax trial balances, and external audit management.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance, tax, and legal teams, to gather relevant data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and validate financial data, ensuring adherence to international accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
- Manage the relationship with external auditors, both remotely and on-site, to facilitate efficient and successful audit engagements.
- Plan and coordinate external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
- Monitor audit progress, resolve any audit queries or issues, and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience as an external auditor within the Big 4 audit firms.
- Has 7 to 10 years of experience as an Auditor.
- A professional accounting qualification with Dip IFRS or others.
