Job Description
Lead the Static Equipment/mechanical activities for North Field Expansion Offshore Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardized processes and to provide design support to Offshore Engineering Manager ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standards.
Provide extensive knowledge and understanding on the requirements of ECPI, communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements and data into an efficient delivery from the contractor.
Collaborate across disciplines (including Process, Structural, Electrical, Piping, Instrumentation, HSSE and Risk), and monitor the progress and delivery of the engineering sections of the workscope.
Ensure that the Contractor's Static Equipment for Topsides, Onshore Facilities (Offshore scope) Engineering, comply with the Contract requirements including codes and standards. Provide guidance to the contractor to promote compliance.
Plan and schedule the Static Equipment engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
Participate to key design workshop including HAZOP,3D model reviews.
Supports Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring the contractor's progress on delivery of the required Static Equipment documents for Topsides and Pipeline disciplines.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect the disciplines involved in delivery of the Static equipment related to Topsides and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
Ensure compliance with management of change procedures for changes in the contractors design or deviations from the company directives.
Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
10+ years of relevant experience as Static Equipment lead, in a major project environment within the oil and gas industry and having a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
Previous knowledge of Brownfield engineering and execution required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
Good knowledge of electrical, instrument, telecom, piping and mechanical equipment
Salary:
