Job Title: Fabrication Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Fabrication Processes:
Execute and oversee fabrication processes including welding, cutting, bending, and assembling metal components.
Must have experience in Aluminum Calculation
Technical Proficiency:
Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and modeling components.
Apply mechanical engineering principles to solve practical fabrication challenges.
Blueprint Reading & Interpretation:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Quality Control:
Implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with standards.
Conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity of fabricated components.
Problem-Solving:
Analyze and troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Develop innovative solutions to complex fabrication problems.
Safety Awareness:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the fabrication industry.
Promote a culture of safety within the team.
Attention to Detail:
Ensure high levels of accuracy and precision in all fabrication tasks.
Consistently monitor work to prevent errors and defects.
Material Knowledge:
Understand the properties and applications of various materials used in fabrication.
Select appropriate materials for specific projects.
Manufacturing Process Knowledge:
Integrate machining, casting, forging, and other manufacturing processes with fabrication tasks.
Optimize production through effective process management.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
Utilize software for project management, documentation, and communication.
Teamwork & Leadership:
Lead and supervise fabrication teams.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to meet project deadlines.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with advancements in fabrication technology and engineering practices.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
Education:
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Relevant certifications in fabrication, welding, or other related areas are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a fabricator specializing in steel and metal.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Experience with Lathe, Milling, 3D Printing, and CNC machinery.
