Description
We are looking for a Steel Fabrication Foreman to join our team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in steel fabrication, with a strong background in managing and leading teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the steel fabrication process, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Manage and lead a team of fabricators, welders, and other personnel involved in the fabrication process
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain accurate records of all fabrication projects, including progress reports and quality control documentation
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and procurement, to ensure that projects are completed according to specifications
- Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials and finished products
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process, and implement solutions to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in steel fabrication
- Experience in managing and leading teams
- Strong technical knowledge of steel fabrication processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
