Steel Welder

The Steel Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures by interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and executing various welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications.

Perform various welding processes, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, to create strong, durable joints in steel structures.

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to project requirements.

Fabricate steel parts and structures based on specifications.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program preferred.

Relevant certifications (e.g.,TUV, AWS, ASME) are an asset.

Proven experience as a steel welder.

Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
