🚨 Urgent Job Opportunity! 🚨
We are looking for a motivated Stewardship Analyst to join a major financial institution in Switzerland. This role focuses on supporting the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) governance of our flagship funds, conducting sector analysis, and leading engagements with corporate issuers on strategic ESG issues.

Responsibilities:
ESG Governance and Sector Analysis:
o Support ongoing ESG governance of existing flagship funds.
o Conduct new ESG sector analysis to inform investment decisions.
Corporate Engagement:
o Lead and support engagements with corporate issuers on strategic ESG issues.
o Develop thematic engagement topics such as strategic metals, human rights, etc.
Proxy Voting and Corporate Governance:
o Participate in proxy voting activities by identifying and analyzing critical general meetings.
o Align proxy voting decisions with BJSS AM voting policy and ESG sector analysis.
o Stay updated on emerging topics and best practices in proxy voting and corporate governance.
Support and Reporting:
o Maintain engagement records and contribute to Requests for Proposals (RfPs), proxy voting reports for clients, and annual reviews.
o Assist in administrative and operational aspects of proxy voting activities, including analysis, research, and presentation.
Education and Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent relevant experience.
o 3 to 5 years of practical experience in proxy voting, corporate governance, and engagement.
o Completion of ESG-focused credential or certificate program preferred (e.g., SASB FSA, CFA ESG Certificate, PRI Academy).
o Self-motivated individual who excels both independently and collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
o Strong written communication skills for recording voting and engagement activities and preparing reporting materials.
o Effective interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with colleagues at all organizational levels.
o Exceptional organizational skills, capable of multitasking under pressure and meeting deadlines consistently.
o Fluency in English and German required (applicants fluent in German will be given preference); French proficiency considered an additional asset.
