Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive - Store/Dispatch to manage our store operations and dispatch functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effective stock management, coordinating dispatch operations, implementing safety policies, and leading a team to ensure timely and efficient operations. The role requires a strong background in materials management, logistics, and warehouse management, with hands-on experience using ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Management: Oversee stock inventory in the ERP system, ensuring proper records, and timely updates.
Dispatch Operations: Manage dispatch activities to ensure efficient packing, shipping, and delivery.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and manage schedules for monthly inventories.
ERP System Maintenance: Ensure accurate stock levels, data entry, and MSL (Minimum Stock Level) maintenance through the ERP system.
Team Supervision: Supervise the store and dispatch teams to ensure smooth operations and meet daily targets.
Safety Compliance: Implement and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures in the department.
Operational Improvements: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and optimize resource allocation.
Leadership: Provide guidance, training, and strong leadership to staff to achieve departmental goals.
MIS Reporting: Prepare and analyze MIS data related to dispatch and packing costs, stock levels, and other related activities.
Logistics Coordination: Liaise with logistics teams for smooth dispatch processes and timely deliveries.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on operational performance, including stock accuracy and dispatch timelines.
Requirements
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Materials Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a similar field.
ERP System Expertise: Proficient in using ERP systems for stock management and dispatch operations.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and make sound decisions.
Safety Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and practices.
Work Ethic: Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Additional certifications in warehouse or logistics management are a plus.
