Job Description

Maintaining the Store for spares and consumables. Make purchase requests and all maintenance related transactions. Receipt and issue of materials. Ensure adequate stock of items in store.

Overview

  • Control stock of spares and consumables and tools to ensure efficient stores operation.
  • Issue and receipt of stores materials maintain records up to date.
  • Co-ordinate with Purchase dept. for timely procurements.
  • Computer operations Knowledge and learning and development skills.
  • Inspection of material on receipt to ensure it is as required and in good condition.
  • Raise purchase request and follow up for timely receipt of goods.
  • Obtain higher level authorization for issue of high cost items bring to management notice any deviation.
  • 5S implementation in store and all safe practices.
  • Physical and system inventory should be the same.
  • Preparation of monthly Ordering Data.
  • Implementing the MRP system for Automatic creation of PR.
  • Check for availability of required items in non-stock area before issuing of stock items.
  • Gate Pass has to be reviewed and updated monthly.
  • Vacation and leave form fill up.
  • Chase suppliers for on time delivery.

Minimum 3 Years experience in in PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structural steel industry
