Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate project plans, and report on project progress in a consistent, accurate, and timely manner.
Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Make complex judgements, decisions, and provide recommendations to address barriers to a project's success.
Regularly review, ascertain milestones, and assess the achievement of the objectives contained within GIB's strategic plan.
Manage strategic projects as delegated by the GCTO to ensure outcomes meet business needs and expectations.
Identify the required resources and capabilities to carry through project activities and deliver on its intended benefits.
Identify and manage across a diverse group of stakeholders who will be impacted by the project - this may include Compliance, Information Security, IT, Operations, and other functional areas.
Lead mixed capability teams including business analysts, process engineers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a joint approach and coordinated delivery. These teams may include external consultants. Activities may include setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal, etc.
Chair and/or participate in committees or subcommittees as requested by the GCTO to represent TMO and/or individual projects.
work closely with and through Compliance to ensure adequate regular communication with relevant regulatory bodies is maintained for all Change the Bank projects.
Obtain stakeholder sign-off and approval on all final deliverables, ensure detailed change management and communications plans are drawn out in liaison with OE Change managers and Corporate Communications to achieve maximum impact, least resistance and widest adoption of project outcomes and ensure complete project closure activities.
Ensure all documentation is complete and stored in the appropriate location. Ensure lessons learned are documented and shared with the TMO team.
