Job duties and responsibilities
- Capable of providing detailed drawings of structural components and their connections of steel and other structural materials.
Draft plans and detailed drawings for structural concrete, steel structures, and installations for various construction projects.- Proficient in utilizing various drafting and CAD techniques to produce drawings in 2-D while working in a 3-D design model environment for project requirements.
Capable of assisting project team with revising drawings to reflect as-built conditions.
- Reviewing rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
Capable of working under instruction to complete designs as required, contributing to Water engineering projects.- Proficient in applying manual and computerized drafting methods with a working knowledge of the terms and procedures.
Capable of preparing civil/structural plans, elevations, and sections to represent the civil/structural design construction layout.
- Checks design for consistency, safety, and operability and maintenance requirements before submitting.
Job qualifications/requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar position within the construction industry in UAE.
Preferably candidates with a bachelors degree or professional certification in drafting or similar.
